Physical Description:
Lilah is an 'alter' – the secondary personality of a person suffering from Dissasociative Identity Disorder (DID). She shares a body with Illyria Trapp – her 'base' persona which she sometimes refers to as her 'hostess'.
Illyria's DID manifests in one way amnesia form - where the secondary is aware of the primary, but not vice versa. Lilah hears and sees everything Illyria does - her consciousness always piggybacking on Illyria's - however Illyria is unaware that Lilah exists and remembers nothing that Lilah does when in control of their body - any missing time is just a big black hole of nothing as if Illyria went to sleep and work up again the next day.
Liliah looks just like Illyria on most physical levels – although she prefers to wear their mutual hair down, and would take the opportunity to cut it short if she were so inclined. She dresses and does makeup very differently. She prefers pants and short skirts to Illyria's long dresses (and has vandalized some of Illyria's favourite gowns in this pursuit). She dresses to show off her build and her skin, with all it's accompanying battle scars. Most people would not recognize Illyria in Lilah on first glance. Lilah also does not wear Illyria's glasses.
Special Abilities
Lilah has all of Illyria's physical capabilities, but with much more zeal toward using them, particularly when it comes to a fight. She yearns for bloodshed and physical activity, recklessly exposing herself to the sun and wind as her hostess would never dream to. She does not have the same insensitivity on her back that Illyria does, able to feel gentle touches the same as any normal person.
She also speaks a sort of creole that Illyria has long since forced herself to forget – it was a sort of code language that some of the expedition members used to communicate with one another when the 'King and Eight Princes' took over the caravan, a language used to talk to each other without being understood by their captors. She uses it to make herself appear more powerful and educated when she haggles for drugs or supplies, muttering as she counts money and making vendors nervous about her choices.
Personality
Lilah Pratt is the product of all the most feral parts of Illyria Trapp.
Born from Illyria's experiences in the Sabaku desert Lilah longs to return to her 'homeland' as she would call it. She loves the sun, the wind and the thrill of bloodshed. The spoils of victory sustain her and she can't stand the way Illyria has chosen to live – all quiet and dainty and locked up.
Lilah could give less than a rats ass about Illyria's academic reasons for the expedition that led to her 'birth'. She was in it for the journey, not the destination, that she took joy from. She has a reckless personality, all bravado and authority and self-confidence. She will start fights she has a poor chance of winning, flirt with strangers, order around service workers and people she thinks are weaker than her and expect to be listened to at face value.
She respects people for their physical prowess and given abilities and is – basically – attracted to power. She finds certain forsaken and gifted creatures exotically attractive for their strange features. She has no particular concern with gender as far as physical pleasure goes. She chooses women when seeking submissive sexual partners and men when she wants to be dominated – either way she is a shameless instigator and much more brazen and open about her sexuality than her hostess would ever be.
History
Lilah's history is much shorter than Illyria's as she was not really 'born' as her own mind until Illyria was in her early thirties.
She remembers the incident that she refers to as her 'birth', she and Illyria (one in the same back in those beautiful days) standing over the first guard that they killed, watching the light fade from his eyes. Glorious in their synchronicity they went on to rip the lives from ten more men and Lilah will say that she has never felt as alive as she did then.
She remembers when they fragmented - the exact moment when Illyria first looked in the mirror when she returned home. She traced the reflection of her weathered face and bit her lip. She shook, then sobbed, gasping and crying out all the pain and fear and regret that Lilah did not feel.
Lilah chose her own name after that day, realizing slowly that she was not in synch with Illyria anymore. Eventually she became nearly entirely shelved away as an observer, unable to seize control of their shared body.
She felt trapped and grew to resent Illyria immensely, scorning everything Illyria admired and longing for their bloodthirsty days again. Lilah would try to push herself to the front (an action that manifested in Illyria's behaviour as a swell of feral desire, which she would then fight down and squash away into the back of her mind again) but failed each time because she was trying to coax Illyria to cooperate instead of forcing and seizing control.
After a long struggle – like the moral dilemma of a soldier about to leave behind a commrade to die - Lilah resigned herself to knowing that Illyria would never be with her when she returned to the desert. She set out to take control without Illyria's permission, attained it while her hostess slept and took her new body on a joyride.
She has since been testing her level of control by venturing out in daylight hours (when Illyria usually sleeps) and enjoying the pleasures that Illyria's lifestyle has denied her – namely getting in fights, getting drunk, sunbathing and taking home anything pleasing to the eye from the local bar.
Lilah has some of Illyria's memories but not all of them. She only knows things about Illyria's life before her 'birth' if Illyria has at some point reflected on them in the last few years. For example, if Illyria was thinking about her parents and something they did as a family when she was a little girl– that would be new information for Lilah.
Lilah has observed enough in the last few years to map Illyria's behaviour and be able to pass for her if she were approached by someone that knew her hostess, but she tries to avoid those situations. She would prefer to remain as something like Illyria's 'secret identity' for now.

I've actually never played this game-- I just vaguely remember seeing Gwynn and Borgoff(??) playing it on the VHD board,so let me know if I screwed up the rules! ^^;
